We continuously strive to make a positive impact in the lives of our customers, employees, shareholders, and in the communities and environments where we live, work and play! Though our global giving initiatives have a multitude of impacts, we make every effort work to keep our energies focused on five key areas: Children's initiatives, Support of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Veterans initiatives, Employee-led charities, and Disaster relief efforts.


    Miles For Kids In Need

    The American Airlines Kids in NeedSM program is one of several initiatives American offers to assist kids in need. The program provides worldwide support for children and their families, as well as for organizations dedicated to improving the quality of life for children with needs for medical, educational, social services issues and/or for those that heighten public awareness of children's issues. The miles have also been used to provide air transportation to nearly 300 critically ill children, and their parents/guardians, in need of medical treatment. Read More
