Based in Boston, Mass Mentoring Partnership (MMP) is fueling the movement to expand quality mentoring for youth to meet the needs of communities across Massachusetts. MMP serves more than 200 mentoring programs statewide supporting 30,000 youth in mentoring relationships. We provide services including training and technical assistance, networking and professional development, mentor recruitment campaigns, advocacy, resource development & recognition, and mentor-mentee match activities. Our program network includes schools, religious organizations, community non-profits, and workplaces, serving youth 5 to 18-years-old. These institutions utilize a variety of program structures including one-to-one mentoring, group mentoring and e-mentoring.

    Meet the Match: Megan and Kathryn from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central MA/Metrowest

    Big Sister Kathryn Ludden was matched with her Little Sister, Megan, age 7, in the fall of 2011. According to Megan’s mom, Sheri, the match really brings out the child within Megan as well as Kathryn! Megan and Kathryn have fun wherever they go, no matter what they are doing. In fact, their goal every time they get together is to have good, clean, simple fun. Kathryn shares, “Megan is the kind of girl who is excited about everything. She loves going places like the movies, just as much as she loves playing a game of tic-tac-toe at my kitchen table.” Read More
