In 2014, I went back to Braga, Portugal for my second 10-day build. We worked on the beginning stages of dismantling a families unsafe home, saving materials along the way to rebuild with. The family of four had been displaced from their previous home due to domestic violence. Their new home was inherited from family but unsafe to live in. Since my time there in 2014, the home has been completed and the family moved in.
