The American Red Cross is one of the oldest humanitarian organizations in the United States providing emergency assistance, disaster relief and education. Many people are aware or have participated in ARC blood drives. Although an estimated 38 percent of the U.S. population is eligible to donate blood at any given time, less than 10% of that eligible population actually do each year. My donation helped support the approximately 36,000 unit of red blood cells needed every day. To put that into perspective, every two seconds someone in the US needs blood.

Research shows that by empowering students with career information, students can make better-informed decisions about their future, through high school and college. Since August 2015, I’ve answered four career related questions that have been made available for all students to see, so more people can learn from my experiences.
